Clair Butler
Hi there and welcome to my website. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. Firstly I am a classically trained Mezzo Soprano. I completed my training to Grade 8 level at the CIT Cork School of Music. I also have a Bachelors of Music and a Masters in Ethnomusicology from University College Cork where I am currently completing a Music PhD.
As for experience; I have sung Professionally on a national and international level in venues such as, Westminster Cathedral and St. Peter’s Basilica The Vatican Rome.
I also released my first album Stormy Weather on the 29th November 2018. 10% of every album sold is donated to Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
I Provide a national service for singing lessons, weddings, functions/corporate events and funerals. Aside from classical art song and opera I perform an extensive repertoire of genres such as, old jazz standards, liturgical pieces, musical theatre, modern pop songs and a range of Irish traditional and world music vocals.
